Quality
Quality Assurance
At Oxford Valves | Gaschem, quality is built into every stage—from material control and machining through clean assembly, verification testing and final inspection. Our framework supports consistent performance across C10 cylinder valves, regulator ranges (fixed, dial-a-flow, vari-flow and demand flow) and critical components used in manifolds, panels and engineered gas systems.
Material Control & Traceability
We start with certified materials selected for gas service, durability and long-term reliability. Each batch is verified and tracked to maintain full traceability.
Includes: incoming inspection, material verification, batch/heat traceability, controlled storage.
Precision Manufacturing & Process Control
Components are produced using controlled machining processes designed to protect tight tolerances on threads, sealing faces and flow paths. In-process checks are applied to maintain consistency across batches and custom builds.
Includes: CNC/VMC machining, dimensional checks, SPC/process inspection where applicable, controlled finishing.
Verification Testing (Valves, Regulators & Assemblies)
We verify mechanical integrity, leak tightness and repeatable performance to ensure reliable operation in real working conditions.
Testing may include (product-dependent):
Pressure integrity and leak testing (pneumatic / hydrostatic methods)
Seat leak and pressure decay checks for valve sealing
Flow performance checks for fixed, dial-a-flow and vari-flow regulators
Functional verification for demand-flow behaviour where applicable
Sampling validation such as proof/burst/endurance checks where applicable
Standards, Documentation & Compliance Support
We design and test products against relevant industry standards and provide supporting documentation where required. For engineered systems and installations, documentation can include drawings, inspection records and test results aligned to project needs.
Includes: inspection records, test reports, certificates and export documentation where applicable.
Final Inspection & Export-Ready Packaging
Before dispatch, products and assemblies undergo final inspection and verification checks. Items are packed to protect sealing surfaces and prevent damage during transit, with documentation available on request.
Includes: final visual/dimensional checks, final leak verification, protective packaging, traceability documentation where required.
